ASWSUV advocates for current and prospective students, promotes student initiatives, and enhances the WSU college experience.
Four Pillars of ASWSUV
Representation & Advocacy
Advocate for student needs to the university by appointing student representatives to committees. Engage in policy efforts to influence educational initiatives and collaborate with lawmakers and groups at various levels to drive impactful change.
Resource Allocation
Manage and allocate student activity fees to enhance campus services and resources. Improve existing services, introduce new initiatives, and promote a vibrant and inclusive campus community through strategic investments and creative programming.
RSO & Club Reinforcement
Oversee and support Registered Student Organizations by offering guidelines, checklists, and templates. Help RSOs access valuable resources and connect them with legacy information that may otherwise be overlooked or missed.
Community Engagement
Strengthen community engagement through involvement in service projects, environmental clean-ups, recreational activities, and outreach programs. Build connections with local partners and foster a culture of active participation and social responsibility.
