What is Coug Day at the Capitol?
Join Cougs from across campuses at the State Capitol to meet with legislators and lobby for bills that will benefit the lives of college students on your campus and across the state.
When?
Occurs yearly, over two-days, during the beginning of the Spring Semester.
Where?
We lobby in Olympia, WA at the State Capitol building.
Who?
Students from all WSU campuses are welcome to attend.
Why?
- To advocate for the needs of students on and off our campuses
- Shed light on issues concerning students.
- Provide an opportunity to participate in the legislative process.
How?
Student leaders and governments oversee organization of the trip.
